Building the Future
With our deep aviation experience and a focused approach on infrastructure development, LaGuardia Gateway Partners is working with the Port Authority to deliver an airport terminal that is truly reflective of the city and its' citizens. Construction of the new state-of-the -art facility, parking garage, and associated infrastructure will occur while maintaining full operations of the current terminal. This is one of the most complex construction projects in the world.
The new Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport will be a 1.3 million square foot, 35-gate terminal and will feature dual pedestrian bridges that span active aircraft taxi lanes -a first in the world- which will connect the main part of the terminal to two island concourses. Passengers will walk above aircraft as they make their way to their gate, all while enjoying views of the iconic Manhattan skyline. In addition, this island and bridge design will double the taxi way space for aircraft.
LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B will offer best-in-class retail, food, beverage, and amenities that will more than double the current number of offerings.
The Central Hall, the core element of Governor Cuomo's vision for LaGuardia Airport, will connect the airport into a unified facility, and provide the possibility of future AirTrain connections.
