Skytrax honored Terminal B with both 5 Stars and the World’s Best New Airport Terminal; learn more now!

LaGuardia Gateway Partners began construction on the new 1.3 million square foot Terminal B in June 2016 and wrapped up the mammoth project on time and on budget in 2022. Valued at $5.1B, the Terminal B project is one of the largest public-private partnerships in American history and the largest in US aviation.
The project included the Arrivals & Departures Hall, connected by 2 skybridges to 2 island concourses, a parking garage, and related roadway and infrastructure. An incredibly complex project, the new Terminal B was built next to, behind and even over top of the original terminal, which remained operational during the majority of the construction.
