Wheelchair Services
Wheelchair accommodations should be made directly with your airline in advance of travel and are available for arriving and departing guests. Departing travelers who booked a wheelchair can utilize our wheelchair call button located on the sidewalk in front of the Departures Level or go directly to your airline’s ticket counter.

TSA Cares is a dedicated helpline that provides information on the screening procedures that specifically pertain to those with disabilities, medical conditions, and other circumstances. PSSs are Transportation Security Officers (TSO) who have received advanced training on helping passengers with disability, medical, or other circumstances through the screening checkpoint.
Please call TSA Cares at least 72-hours in advance of travel with your travel dates, flight information, and the type of assistance needed. The hours of operation for the TSA Cares helpline are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, weekends and holidays. If you need in-flight assistance or wheelchair assistance from the curb to the flight, please contact your airline before traveling. Airlines will generally work with you to try to meet your particular needs.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard
Terminal B offers the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard to guests with disabilities that may not be easy to observe, such as autism, PTSD, or hearing loss. First pioneered at Gatwick International Airport in London, the Sunflower Lanyard communicates those guests wearing the lanyard may need extra help while traveling. It is recognized in a growing number of airports. Lanyards are available at no cost pre-security on both the Departures Level and the Arrivals Level at the Guest Services desks.

Pet/ Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) for service animals are available at Terminal B. Look for the pet relief symbol for designated areas and check the terminal map for their location.
